Today was Parent Teacher conference day, the day you find out how you child is fairing, and if there up to the par !! I also had to pick up report cards.
Avery's main teacher, Mr.Smith said Avery is doing great, and he did an amazing job on his history project. He said Avery is doing great for him, and is dramatically improved. He was beaming, and proud of Avery. He said Avery just blew him away with his project. They also got into a debate over some battles in the Civil war, and neither won... ha ha. Avery did have a D in science, not from Tests or homework, but not participating in class. I talked to his teacher, and she did say he's probably bored, because she has to break it down so much for some of the other students. Otherwise it was All A's and B's.
Grace had a great report card, and is received her Number Recognition reward this morning. She knows all her sight words but one, and we are working on that. She informed me last night how much water is in our bodies.
