Aidan's visit to the hosptial

Yesterday his daycare called me, which has never happened. Said he was crippled over crying that his tummy hurt, sweating, had no fever, and very pale. I was worried his new medcine had made his blood pressure drop to low, so I called the dr. His ped checked him out, and sent us over to the er. Where the first er dr, was not going to do the CT his ped wanted, and send us home ( his tummy wasn't hurting then). Then The head dr, checked him when his tummy was hurting, and decided we needed to do one. Then surgeon admitted him, because he still thought it could be appenditsitis. He would not walk or jump during his tummy pain. He was in PAIN, bad pain.

He had no dirraeh,vomiting, fever, but just horrible tummy pain. His rectal exam was "normal", his ct was normal. his white blood cell count is high, other than that he's "normal". He has had no tummy pain this morning. He was on a iv all night, no food after 12. But he is still laying around and pale.


He has complained about his tummy hurting off on and for awhile now. We have a follow up appt with the surgeon in a week, unless he gets worse again.
I have never seen Aidan so still, quiet, and zombie like, it really had me worried, that's not normal for him. He would get in so much pain, he would sweat. His head would be drenched. The surgeon says it persists we will see a ped gastro.
