Hi Ya’ll!! I am a creative, coupon clipping, and frugal living mom in the Tri-Cities TN. I have been couponing for over 15 years, and I am always looking for ways to save a buck.I love to cook in my crock pot, look for bargins, decorate and makes crafts on the cheap too, and shop Consignment sales. I like to encourage local folks to shop local by doing reviews of local businesses. A Frugal Chick always gives back and I share ideas on how to do that too.

Radio Shack: Check out what reader Ketryna emailed me:
So My husband and I recently took our kids on a train ride down to Portland Oregon. While we were there we decided to take advantage of some NO SALES TAX purchases and found a local radio shack selling the new iPad Mini. They told us that not all Radio Shacks carry iPads but this particular one had just received 1 in stock. After some deliberation we decided to go ahead and purchase it, plus a couple of extra things to go along with it. Our Total came to 525.00. We saved over 50.00 in Sales Tax but the best part is that they have a deal that you get 10.00 back for ever 50 you spend. Kind of like Kohl’s deals. We didn’t realize this promotion when we decided to buy an apple product but when we got home I received (10) 10.00 coupons in my email. They can only be used one at a time, but hey free batteries or something else small. I thought it was a great deal to get back 100.00 especially since we were buying an iPad. Can’t find any other deals anywhere else for Apple stuff. Just figured I would let you know in case you want to pass it along!
