Hi Ya’ll!! I am a creative, coupon clipping, and frugal living mom in the Tri-Cities TN. I have been couponing for over 15 years, and I am always looking for ways to save a buck.I love to cook in my crock pot, look for bargins, decorate and makes crafts on the cheap too, and shop Consignment sales. I like to encourage local folks to shop local by doing reviews of local businesses. A Frugal Chick always gives back and I share ideas on how to do that too.

I have been a little behind in some things..
I finally realized what it is I am suppose to do besides being a good mom. In high school, through out my gazillion major changes there was one profession that others had told me I should do, that had been in the back of my mind.. a nurse. I always have second guess, third guess, and more then that myself. Always had a reason why I wouldn't be good at being a nurse, the smells, blood, scared I would hurt someone, etc. I do know that every time I go into a hospital, I would feel a longing, to be there. Very hard to explain, but I had a moment the other day, when I was standing in a hospital, thinking, how I missed working in a hospital ( years ago, I worked in radiology in a hospital). I love to help people, some people welcome it,others not so much (I have lost friends because apparently it gets on some peoples nerves). Being a nurse I have a feeling someone will always need my help. It's not going to be easy getting through the educational part for me. I have some very real serious learning disabilities, but I am determined to do it and do it well.

Goals for 2011
Its took me a few weeks to think about what I want to accomplish this year. Here is my goals for 2011.
~Get in the CNA program, pass the board exam, and get a job.
~Apply for a lpn program.
~Get Aidan SSI, so that I can afford the therapies, and other things I like to give him.
~Have a nest egg for emergencies. Pay off some debt.
~Forgive those I need to forgive, and ask for forgiveness from those who I need too. Let the past be the past ( Hebrews 12:1, Phil 3:12-14) and move on.
~Spend more time with my family doing fun stuff. Enjoy my children before there childhood is gone.
~Exercise more, eat less red meat, lose a few pounds.
~Take a photo a day. One a week of myself. Improve my photography skills.
~Pray more, relax more, read more. Take time to smell the roses.
~Help Grace come out of her shell, and Aidan graduate out of his special needs class.
~Scrapbook again.
~Realize that sometimes no matter how hard you try, you can't make someone be your friend. And move on and find new friends who value a good friend. This is very hard for me, to grasp. I have a hard time making friends with people who don't take advantage of it. I am either going to grasp this or just not have friends, one or other.
~Try to sew or knit again, maybe this time with help.
~Go to a zumba class again.
~Write in a blog again.
