Leaf And String Festival in Galax VA
This weekend, Galax had there first festival of the summer! This one reason why I love Galax, and why I love working downtown! It's a celebration of music ( our heritage music aka BLUEGRASS), Arts, and Literature. There is craft vendors, store vendors, and food vendors. Friday I had to work all day with it, so Saturday I took the kids down to have some fun. Unfortunately we were rained on 3 times, and then it started thundering. But we managed to have some fun in between. Along with eating horrible things like funnel cakes, hot dogs, and homemade ice cream!! Next Event is Groovin on Grayson and then it's Smoke on the Mountain!!
